The birds are singing me to sleep.

A mountain side park with built in amphitheater
Right by my house.
Equipped with harmonica and guitar strumming friends
A bottle of wine and a little bit of beer.

Summer has its place here.
(winter I doubt it)

It reminded me of two years past.

I also saw a couple lightning bugs.

I talked to Danny Collisson today. Like actually talk to him.
This was far more amazing upon reflection than in reality. A marvelous human being really. Someone worth having in your life always. Or a need even. I aspire to be like him. And hope that I can fill my life with people like Danny.
Here is where I would insert a blog-- but sorry folks-- you will have to get on him for that.
Italy- to NY to WI and MN to Australia to here and there country city country- all for what he loves-- passion, global experience, music, intelligence, people, happiness, gardens, exquisiteness

Here's to more tomorrow

Good Night my dear friends

And another thing!

Those fricken Vikings don't deserve him.

Lord knows I love Mike.
He proved a usual MN Viking fan flop while rubbing salt in my wounds (even though I semi started it).

"Ha ha, we've got Brent Farve, or whatever his name is, I've never heard of him."

There you go Brett. Have fun.
:(

p.s. No more football post for awhile- I promise.
Unless this madness continues....

Jackson

Well the worst week ever is officially confirmed according to breaking news from the LA Times.

On top of the Farve thing.

Now Michael Jackson is dead.

Two of my favorites- absolute favorites in one week.

:(

Rest in peace Michael.

My dance moves would not have been the same without you.

<3

The King of Pop will live on forever in many millions of hearts.

Lightning bugs and starry skies

Well well well a mid-week treat eh?!
I dunno if you will get much this weekend so count your lucky stars faithful bloggie blog followers.

I talked to my grandmother for a hour today. Awesome. I really need to call her more often.
She is going strawberry picking tomorrow morning-- aka right now--
Five ice cream pails full of about $25 dollars
yum yum She will have jams and other treats waiting for my return.

I called her today in a Packer rampage. After yelling at Dusick about a crappy Wisconsin post on blogspot, I found him (Adam) on AIM. Aannnddd he broke me the horrible news.
A fricken VIkQUEEN?!!? Srsly?!!? Farve what is up man?
I will copy Adam's picture which I was so furious over before.

However, the man can not be taken out of my WI born and raised heart.

Also peeps-- get with it! If I was there I would have went camping fifty times by now!
As Louisa documented oh so well, If we can do it in the winter--
now will be even better!!!!

Rock those puggie pies for me!!!!

*note-- looking at both of those links are highly HIGHLY worth it!
please please do it

I feel bad for Adam. This kid has more camping gear than anyone I know! You need a water filter! He has it! Mini stove--Sure! Axe? Yep Minimalist tent- Definitely. You name it- he has it.
So for god's sake someone go camping with him!
Just keep in mind it will not be as fun without me there.
This is something you will have to accept until next year.

ps Also go camping in Iowa.
It is great advice trust me.

pps I wish I had a tent in Korea-- oh oh sooo bad

So use yours for me okay friends!!!

Fanta Shakers

I l<3ve fanta shakers.

Laura hates fanta shakers.

We love each other.

Fanta shakers + soju = good call

Fruit smoothies + soju = better call
!

And in other news last night was my first time ever visiting a love motel. Don't get me wrong now! My friends were staying there from out of town.
Its not the usual bar of soap and mini shampoos you get here--

They also had vhs pornos on shelves in the hallways
All this class for only $30!

Work dinner + Karaoke

I suck at karaoke--

My director made me dance on a mini table thing- with a trombone player at dinner.
::embarrassing::

And later I sang Sk8er Boi and Ace of Bace.

ha

Guess which Korean song I am dancing to here?!!? ha ha

The best part of my day....

::100% good influence

5/29- 5/31 :::: A weekend of awesomeness

Friday started off with some of the teachers going to lunch and the park. A little hookie from school still works when you are teacher-- at least for part of the day. The park was so beautiful. Exactly what I needed -- a little escape from the otherwise concrete jungle of Busan.

Later that night Laura and I met up-- wearing damn near the same outfit!! Great minds think alike.

Then I had a "whiskey SHOWER" for 6,000 won!! Pretty cheap for bathing in whiskey.

We ended up at a bar where the bartenders threw flaming bottles around and danced to this song in unison when it came on. It was crazzzyyyy!! People taking shots and getting awesome I can't even type how silly it was-- silly as in awesome!

ps right before this we were thinking about going home-- good thing we didnt b/c this was just the start.
Laura met this hot guy.

And his student had a Hello Kitty credit card.

They took us to a sweet, huge, dance club called Foxy. Tons of people-- yeeahhhhh!!!! Mostly Koreans ::::cool koreans--too:::!!!-- that's where it's at you know-- they know the rockin' parts of the city for sure!
We danced and danced -- the dudes left and Laura and I were having way too much fun to do that. We left around 5am when the party was still in full force.
It was aawweesommmmmmeeeee-- crazy I tell you-- I-
I -
I don't even know!
We met lots of cool peeps and busted some moves
Went home and ate ramen.

The next day, there was a sand festival. It was actually kind of disappointing but ahh well- I still had never seen sand sculptures in real life before that.

They did have a speared whale- which was crying- and there was a tiny boat on the sand wave- very mody dick.

We were super excited to eat at Fridays--
Why -- good questions-- haha
but the mac and cheese bites and mudslide were good.
Our milk shake brings all the boys to the yard:::

We met up with some cats we met the night before- and their friends.
Nick, a guy we met form Busan who now lives in Las Vegas, had this sweet bag-- which played music

We hung out outside of a family mark and drank a little soju.
Then we went to another dance club.
haha

No seriously I am not even drunk in that pic-- I had just started to talk and turn away--
Pretty funny never the less.
Then we went to another dance club-
Where eventually our friends started dancing on stage. It's a dance club takeover!! haha

The club had a mouthwash dispenser in the bathroom

brilliant idea!

Sunday afternoon, Laura and I went on a hike to the park. We refreshed ourselves with the backscratchers there. ha
We brought a little picnic and enjoyed the weather.

Some grown-ups were in an intense game of dogeball.

Tons of other people were enjoying the Sunday afternoon as well- playing games-- like volleyball with your feet!!!::what:::!!!, having korean bbqs outside, and drinking soju- people were even dancing- and again we heard this song on the park speakers.
Dinner later- and then I went to bar trivia in the evening.

Friday was the best. Soooo much fun. I wish Laura lived with me-- especially on the weekend when she just goes home to sleep. Maybe when I get a couch she will be my guest more permanently on the weekend haha.
