Labor Day.

Eeerr the Sunday before that is. After laboring away in a syrup strewn brunch, a mini but ever so quality Sunday Dinner ensued.

PBG is always the master chef. Tucker-- you get good props too. And Louisa and Kris pulled out some stops as well-- sooo okay everyone ruled.

Followed by a bonfire, an impromptu run in with Ms. Terese and some other fabulous friends (Aaron & Joe ^^;; ), busting a couple moves at First Ave, and patio beers.xx




*While uploading the Sunday Dinner pics- two thoughts occured to me: One, dinners inside, not involving a grill, and including a large table surrounded by friends should start soon. Yes!
And two, will it be moved inside or to our memory banks. Sad thought- incredibly.

As for now, this Sunday will be a whopper- Ashley is back for the week! <333 I haven't seen this lovely lady in far, far too long. I'm sure we will get into much more trouble than Sunday Dinner.

Minnesota State Fair 2010: second edition

The great MN get together. Continued.... more fried food, more friends, more belly aches, and sit ups!

The best thing I have ever eaten at the fair: deep fried cheeseburger.
Yes, you heard me right-

The Oreos sucked. :/ I have had good deep fried Oreos- but these were not it. Booo -- worst food award.

Yuck.

But yum.

I missed pictures of the giant animals because it was slightly disturbing to me- bunches of animals in tiny cages, surrounded by people gawking at them- and oddly enough- people also in cages right next to them. I could go on further with my critical debate but my thoughts are for discussion rather than my fun only blog, so I will spare you.
Anyhow, another note worthy attraction was the award winning baked goods: first place jams, pies, muffin, bread, and so forth. Yum Yum YUM! I miss my grandma! I better start my baking!
There were a couple of things I didn't sqeeze into my 2010 MN state fair experience, mainly a variety of rides. Wearing high heels that are a size too small but super cute may have played into that. Lesson learned.

Minnesota State Fair 2010: first edition

Friday- the second day the fair was open-- Boys II Men played their second (and last) free show on the Leinenkugel's stage! Woooaaahh!! I was there. I planned on making another trip to the fair (two, if I'm lucky...) so I made the show my main attraction. Throw a couple things on a stick, random wandering arounds, and run-ins with people you know in the mix and you got a pretty great MN fair trip.

I have to say that "End of the Road" was my favorite. Although, "I'll make love to You" was pretty sweet as well. haha
