Korean BBQ

A different kind of Friday night fish fry

A giant plate with three different kids of raw fish.


This was my favorite dish. ^ It was extremely tasty. The fish reminded me of home and frying them up with my family.

I got the cheeks from this guy.


Later it was someone's Bday-- so I got a slice of this baby.

My friend, Tom, said I would break his heart if I didn't "gorge" myself on Korean food.

I blame him if I get fat.

p.s. Tom has killer tunes available for download on his blog. It's defiantly worth a gander.

Kimchi chi ge (chee gay) is one of my favorites! It is a hot spicy soup/stew with kimchi, tofu, onion, scallions... This is actually Chamchi chi ge, the same but with tuna.
Then rice, yes, loads of kimchi, and some kimbap. Kimbap is similar to sushi. It is made of steamed rice and a variety of pickled, roasted, or fresh vegetables, and sometimes a protein (meat, fish, or tofu) wrapped in seaweed paper.

pps On another side note-- I called my family yesterday and my brother, Jordan, was eating chips and dip and nine am. That was sooo funny I thought! But then again, I just ate dried cereal / treat thing* for dinner I suppose.
*It was like Smacks but packaged as a treat not a breakfast cereal
