Busan was home to a mini winter wonderland this week.. When I made my snow angel I thought that would be that- but nope! Snow fell through out the night. The snow stuck around into the day and had accumulated to around an inch. Public schools were cancelled. haha
It was so wonderful to watch the kids and families play in the snow~ some of them for the first time. It was a very rare thing here, especially such a *large* amount of snow^^
The rest of the week held a buzz of excitement. The kids had such a blast making snowmen and engaging in snowball fights. The stories and energy about the rare event were great! Many of my kids wrote about the day. Here are two:
At the beginning of each class, we talked about the snow and what the kids had done to enjoy it. That led into reading this classic- which I fondly remember as a child as well.
